Hign Blood Pressure but still need to lose weight

I used to have high blood pressure. I found out after getting crippling pains in the base of my skull during high intesity workouts. My BP levels dropped right down to much better #s after 30 days of atkins.

Now that I'm off the atkins but I've been working out my BP has gone up a little bit over what it was on the atkins but It's within acceptable limits.

Try www.atkinscenter.com to learn more about it. I'd buy the book though, it gives you more of the information than the website though you can call an 800 number on the website to answer your questions. It's all basically about keeping your carbs low while eating higher fat and protein.

I'm glad to hear that it's lowered the bp levels of many of you...I'm hoping for the same:angel:
