Is there any body here that has gone off sleeping meds? I struggled like hell last nite. I took Ambien and ended up cutting my cats tail off in the bathroom door and Ativan got to where I was taking 3mg a day WTF?
PICK, do you have any home remedies?

Magnesium are the dietary Dinner solutions.

As far as supps; get needtosleep
and If I were you i would have a large past bowl every night with a glass of warm milk, Sprinkled with magnesium

followed by Needtosleep

Asking the wrong person bro.

I use sleep meds every single night now.

Just got 5 refills of 12.5 Ambien CR's which I take during the week and 1.5 to 2.0 mg/night of xannies on the weekend.

I hate being dependant on sleep meds, but CR's have NEVER failed me.

The only bright side is I've giving up drinking altogether.

As mentioned ... quiting benzo's cold turkey is a bad idea.

I took one fuckin pill the first night. Got up in the middle of the night and slammed the door completely shut on my cats tail and as he ran away it peeled the skin off. HEEERRE KITTY KITTY.

The interweb is full of stories of "well adjusted" peeps that had nightmarish/suicidal experiences on Ambien

It's not perfect but on CR's at least I get approx 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep

Well. I'm on 160mg Geodon daily so I definately don't need anything to give me suicidal thoughts.

it's a longer acting benzo than xannies or ativans, but the docs are pretty tight about dispensing them
