Help with Windows ME please..

My buddy just got Windows ME installed and we can't figure out how to get the user name and password to quit showing up everytime windows starts........ I use 98 and ME is a little different. thanks for any help

LOL...I have windows 98 and still can't figure out how to get that username/password thing off when I reboot. I just click on cancel and it takes care of it, but still...it's quite annoying.

Ok he never put a user name or password in to begin with.. how would he log out and back on?

Ok open the network control panal, make sure the windows logon is selected not the microsoft network logon. Restart your computer. When the logon window comes up enter any name and leave the password blank. Hit return. When it asks you to confirm the blank password hit enter again.
