Help, My Wife Just Had Anothe Siezure

My daughter just called and said my wife had another siezure in the bathtub this time. She is over it but she is kinda of like snoring. I don't want to appear to be a tight wad but I am still paying for the last trip to the hospital from the previous seizure 2 months ago.

Are epileptics ok once they come out from the seizure or do they need to go to the hospital every time?

If you left the hospital the last time, you would have asked "What do I do if it happens again," you would have medication for your wife and a list of warning signs for complications.

When to Seek Medical Care



A first seizure is a reason to visit your doctor or a hospital's Emergency Department. For someone with a diagnosed seizure disorder, a change in seizure patterns or more frequent seizures are reasons to see the doctor.

Visits to a hospital's Emergency Department are not needed for everyone with a seizure. Some seizures are emergencies, in these cases.

* A seizure that continues for more than 5 minutes (call 911)

* Breathing difficulty (call 911)

* Persistent confusion or unconsciousness (call 911)

* Injuries sustained during a seizure

* A first seizure

Hey dude. I am in a new year's deductible and all this crap cost me 3000 last year like I said I am still paying doctors from the last time this happen and they didn't do shit other than charge me alot damn money and feed my wife crappy food. I don't know the name of her doctor because she has so dang many. I dislike the medical proffesion like I do the legal profession and hate using them unless it is a dire emergency. My daughter says she is laying down now and her memory is coming back.

I just talked to another friend that has it and he told me he doesn't go to the doctor after everyone so he said if she is acting ok don't sweat it. So nevermind unless you have some helpful advice instead of just nailing me.
