Help me understant 150lbs and under

maccer said:
love the way people are talking about weight!! fucking ridiculous - weight is nothing if you have no condition, peoplem just pull these weight figures out of their arse. Everyone is different.

I feel this is the truth. I think its the climate now- people pick up a Muscular Development magazine (thats what I like to read) and see Jay Cutler and his Hummers and are like yeah I want to be like that! Whereas a few years ago 220 was considered pretty heavy- but in good condition with low bodyfat! BB now are always "bulking" and they don't care if its all fat and water with no type of strength gains whatsoever- as long as the scale keeps telling them what they want to hear.

I read an article by Shawn Ray (awesome BB by the way) that said you don't even have a chance in the Olympia lineup these days unless your 270!!!

There's no way you can set a weight limit on using AAS. If you're 6'0" and 200lbs your not very big. And if you're 5'7" and 150-160 you're probably about at the same place. I know plenty of people who are 220lbs and don't need to be doing steroids either. You'd have to figure out bodyfat, height, weight, lift poundages, diet and age. Everyone is different and while most people that say they cant gain anymore are just not dedicated enough, some people just can't gain anymore. Furthermore who is anyone to decide for someone else when it's time to takew the plunge. If you have done your research and are willing to put in the hours and the work and willing to suffer any consequences then its your decision. There definitely cant be a set standard for when it's time to do AAS.

okay, i am now 30yrs old. i'm 5 7" and cannot stay above 135-140 off gear. i trained natty for 7 years and could not break 118lbs ! no shit. ecto is an understatement. and i was in shape. i have gotten to just under 150lbs with gear, and dont tell me i shouldnt be touching it, because i looked better than most guys bigger than me.
look at these pics and tell me i dont know anything about working out, or that gear hasnt helped me, and then we'll see whats up...

150, theres something even better than roids to get your weight up, ITS CALLED EATING<<!!!!! but i have to admit i knew like 5'5. and 5'6 guys who were round 150, but they were huge for there size, but if your 5'11, just eat make it a goal, you wont touch juice until you hit 185 naturally, at least 175, if you cant get your weight up and keep it there yourself, then even with juice, youll get your weight up, but drop right back once you get off, if you get up to 180 then eat to stay at there dont youve got to eat to support 30lbs of new weight... gluck..

i agree to a point, but at 22 i touched my first AAS and i worked out for 6 yrs solid played sports baseball hockey mainly and was very active in shape but always ate like a fucking cow shakes, craetine ect and barley could break 140 with creatine, Now I am 186 or so and i truly beleive that i would not be there unless it was for the supplements,

Gman yes coming off with 25 or 30 lbs more than what u started and keeping a lot of it is very very hard u need to eat even more cals carbs ect.. soem say to eat less when you comeoff or dropp clas butto do that i beleive is only ogin to hurt yourself and a waste of time and money. eat hard, play hard and patience is the name of the game I am shooting for 195 - 205 or I am on week 7 and up 12 lbs of solid LBM so 195 to hit is obtainable but if u wnat ti bad enopugh and put in the time and deit right ( which I owe a lot of credit too people here, u know who u r) then it will come. good luck and like i said befor knowledge is the key.

oh yes incase i wasnt clear, eat as much as you did to gain to sustain, just incase i didnt get it clear, def rao has a good point, i know some peopel who would not eat as much after they got off, if you do that youll loose it, my personal opinion is its EASIER to GAIN than to SUSTAIN... dont know why but it is, well i do know(cus your not on shit), but that doesnt make keeping yoru gains any easier, haha gluck

is a tough game but if u r willign to put this shit on the line then do it right and end it right and u will ahve your helath for many, many many years.

I am also shocked when I see guys doing cycles that are 5'9" 140 lbs and are using steroids :o...IMO a good percentage in that category are probably NOT eating enough, and THAT is where most of them are lacking IMO :o
But I guess they figure if you take steroids you dont have to eat??? :worried:

But I stopped telling them to wait to cycle a long time ago, as noone ever listened anyway :o
