goerge is right, i also think it was a panick attack. i've had them before and they are just like you described. i would wake up with my heart racing, chet pain,and sweating and nervous. check into it bro. i think mustang gets that alot you might want to pm him.

Whether or not ephedrine usage can result in similar pathology is unknown.

My attendings and the residents continue to give me shit about ephedrine usage, but it hasn't stopped me from using it yet. Millions use it with no problems. Mabye there is rare a genetic predisposition to adverse effects. Nobody knows.

Well hell, if ephedra causes problems we should all stop doing cardio. Seeing ephedra in a sensible dose raises metabolism by a whopping TWO PERCENT, I can just imagine how deadly a run in the park would be.

I'm not saying that ephedra doesn't cause problems, i'm saying that 99% of them are caused by user error and pre-existing conditions.
