since sunday ticket came about i havent missed a game.... but THIS year was a team i was in touch with. i had a connection somehow...

i have that lost feeling going... like i just moved from a girlfriend or lost a pet...its horrible.

cheer up bro.,..it know what your going threw...damn that was a fumble

HA HA!!!! 6 points away from your first Superbowl victory....too bad...so sad.

You know what they remember about the great teams that didn't win the superbowl....

Ask the kansas City Chiefs of the mid 90's.
The L.A. Rams of the Mid 70's...

Hmmmm

NOTHING!!! BWAUGH!!!

Having been born in Philly , I feel ya bro. Although, I went through a similar heartache last week when the Bears feel to your "birds of prey"... so, I can't say I feel tooo bad. :)

i hear ya too

49er's lost to GB. I think we could have knocked off the Rams if we only got a chance to play them. Now got to watch nhl, and NBA. Go Devils , Go Nets. Finally the Nets are doing something this year. But anyway, it aight dog. Eagles have a great team, they'll be back new year.

so, i'm not the only one who has an unhealthy obsession with their favorite team?

now, what the fuck do we do for the next 7 months? i had a routine... wake up, gym... get food... FOOTBALL....FOOTBALL... football highlights.... FOOTBALL... then their was monday FOOTBALL...

I had that feeeling after the 98 champ game Vikes vs Falcons, that game killed me, bad bad memory

being a redskins fan for so long has actaully made me quite numb to football. back in the glory days I'd take losses personally. Almost like my dog died or something. But about a decade of incompitence has made me a shell of a fan.

This is how I look at it now, and this how I think and I don't expect anyone to agree.

The players on team X make ungodly sums of money to play a game they love and be pampered and fed like kings. Getting their hands on any performance enhancing substances is a cake walk. They have women throwing themselves at them, the drive nice cars and some of them, especially veterans of 6 years or more, are actually pretty bright guys. They have a lot going for them aside for the fact when they are 50 their bodys will be destroyed. Anyway. I can't really relate with these guys. So I no longer feel for them, and I don't take losses personally anymore.

If something happened to me (losing my job, the death of a family member), do you think my lousy redskins would give a shit? No. And that's the way I feel about them. I don't know but I guess a long the way I lost my fanatical attitude for my redskins. I'm a football fan, but I don't bleed burgandy and gold anymore. But that's just me.

man, why would anyone EVER take a football game so seriously?? Damn, being in the Cleveland area I would have been a basket case from years past. Sports is sports, it's fun to watch.....but at the end of the day it means nothing. I will say that football is now becoming my #1 sport to watch though. I absolutely detest the NBA.....and I'm starting to get that way about baseball. At least in football those guys pay for their salaries with their asses.....and yet as a whole they make a fraction of what NBA and MLB players make. How does a shortstop in baseball make 22mil a year and a quarterback who is among the top players at his position ever, has to take pain killers just to walk out onto the field??
