hcg IM vs subcontaneous.. discomfort?

view

New member
I sometimes fine shooting HCG sub-q to be a bit discomforting. i was thinking about goimg intramuscular instead. does it have any bite/sting to it goign IM?

its mixed with bac water if that helps any.

I do sub q in my quads and other than the slight sting of the initial stick, I never felt anything, never had any bruising or anything. Wierd.

I have always gone IM with it. I have never even heard of shooting it sub-q. I'm a newbie though. he he

Well you are a pretty fart smeller...I mean a SMART FELLER so maybe I have been doing it wrong?

Sub Q kind of creeps me out a little.

Why?

I would love for some of the vets to chime in here so I can know if I am doing it right or not. I got my boys back to their regular size mid cycle doing sub q on my thigh so I would assume it works but might not be maximum effectiveness.

well, sub q at first sounds kind of painful and freaky, but my doc gave me those slin pins (super tiny needles!) and told me to pinch the fat near the belly button and while pinching it, put the needle into the raised portion of the skin. I haven't felt any pain yet from it. I have done it 3 times now and i realize why he recommends sub q verses im. I can't imagine shooting hcg with a 25 gauge pin, that sounds 2 painful. I don't know what gauge these slins are but they are definitely tiny compaired to a 25.. remember, pinch, jab, push. and your done :)

pinch, jab, push and I'm done huh? That reminds me of a date in college. LOL

I do wish I had some slin pins and I may go get some, but not sure. I don't mind the little sting of the 23 gauge in my quad but in my stomach, I don't let sharp things get near my soft pink underbelly. So spare, what did you change your dose too? Still at 1000 EOD?
