HBO:Smashing Machine, MMA fighter Mark Kurr

Another guy well worth mentioning on that show was Kerr's trainer Bas Rutten. He was one hell of a fighter, not quite as devistating a striker as Igor or Vanderlei, but a great combination striker who mix up all his weapons with a ferocious accuracy.

Kerr really got hurt by Pride changing the striking rules - ie kness to head/face etc...

the list goes on and on

Agassi
Tyson
Seahorn
Sampras

etc

I realize this is not the topic of discussion, but why do you all think Bridgette Wilson is responsible for Pete Sampras no longer being at the top of men's tennis? Yeah, he got married, but he was already well past his prime when that all happened. The guy is pretty old(in the realm of tennis), and he had a tremendous career that gradually winded down. He didn't go out suddenly like Agassi did when things with Brooke Shields fell apart. Not to mention the fact that Sampras won the US Open this year at 31 years of age. If anything, getting married inspired the dude.

...he won one tournament - so what - his ranking dropped from number 1 to........a lot lower

Pride has reinstated the knees to a downed opponent rule. In fact you can kick a guy in the face, even if he has 4 points down.

UFC doesn't allow kicks to a downed opponent however.

Pulling out Headbutts really hurt the powerful wrestlers (Kerr, Coleman, Erickson).

good show!Who was that huge godzilla lookin fuck that lost too kerr? You know the one that was in the pool laughing with his friends. They presented him as a monster kinda like dolph when he first appeared in rocky 4.
