that the more "real shit" (death, sadness, etc) you see on a daily basis, the more you look to comedy for entertainment and less drama/horror movies etc?

Maybe that's just me.....Anymore, I'd rather watch cartoons than a new horror flick, a 180 from 5 years ago.......

i dont really like watching sad movies at all anymore.

comedy/action/drama that's not too sad.

It's because I can't give a shit 24/7 about starving kids in Africa, abused pets & people dying from diseases, just like I accept people - strangers - don't really give a shit about my family's problems, which is cool, because you have your own problems and your own lives to lead.

You know what really boils my piss? I'm watching Paramount Comedy during the evenings, good ol' re-runs of Fraser & Scrubs, and in the adverts they're fucking showing NSPCC clips, not once, but TWICE, and a separate starving kids in Africa pitch to boot.

Seriously, I don't want that shit forced down my throat 24/7 when I'm eating my dinner & unwinding at night.
