Have you ever had abs like this?

I actually get abs kinda easily. My arms and abs always are the first to lean out. If I gain fat.... it goes strait to my hips and ass(yuck!!!!) That's why I run sooo much. It's the only thing that keeps my lower body looking lean. If I didn't run, I would have a 28 inch waist with 40 inch hips. It's disgusting. Gotta RUN RUN RUN!

You can easily thicken the abs up to make the obliques look even narrower, wont physically happen, but the illusion is still there.

i was thinking he needs to build some lats

No matter what I do in life, I can at least say I had abs at some point. I'll cherish this picture if I ever turn into an obese fatty:

how does one defined under-nourished? When you have to be hungry to look like that?
i guess in my case, undernourished = eating 3 bowls of rice chex and a salad a day, 1-2 hours of cardio 7x/week. no fat. almost no protein. no nourishment.

Why not just eat less calories for your diet?

I know what you mean though about women sometimes having an easy time with abs but a hard time with the ass. Women always seem to have a hard time with the ass, LOL

I promise. I know what you mean.... but no matter what eating style...diet.. whatever.. if I don't run or do something similiar, I don't look lean.
I have been working out since I was very young. My dad was very into sports and my uncle still runs marathons and bikes a TON and he is 65y/o.
I have always been a lean eater. My parents never allowed me to have junk so I never developed the junk habit. Actually, if u look back on the women's threads...when I was new, I came here because I was trying to gain muscle and weight. I needed to up my cals. I am finally at a good spot. Cutting them would be bad. I can get very small...fast BUT my legs will not look lean without good leg cardio(running or something similiar) about 4 days a week. I just have that crazy body type.

I work out for myself, not to 'show off' to a bunch of strangers. I don't give a damn what people think of me or my physique... it is my vice, and I am the only judge and critique of it. Pretty CK boys can suck it -- they're just superficial and trying to show off something to others in order to boost their own self esteem ("oooh, lookit all the girls checkin' me out, man"). My love is with the iron and pushing myself, not caring about what other people think.

As a retired powerlifter I've got to give a big amen to this statement. It's nice when you're strong and women still like your look.
