Have you ever felt like just giving up?

yep
the rule is, if you want to make an irrelevant comment on a serious thread...

it has to make people laugh with a good joke. not something crappy and predictable. but comedy has never been java's specialty :)
You've been whining like a wiminz as of late. Do something about it or don't, just stop whining about it because it doesn't change a thing.

I've never liked that cliche, wounds may "heal" but to take the analogy further, there is also scar tissue.
After awhile, even the scar tissue goes away (at least for me).

Twenty years and I still have scar tissue on my right knee from JR High football.I also have one on my left knee from surgery in 1998 as well as on my right hand from 1992. Tell me you don't make decisions based on previous negative experiences with people, that's scar tissue... :)

Ah, when you say 'scar tissue', I thought that you meant 'habour very negative feelings towards the incident'. Sure, I make my decisions today based on experience and hope; but I don't regret the great losses in my life. I look back at them fondly.

Scar tissue sucks... not really physically, cause I dig on all my scars, but yeah emotionally... to not trust, open up, or be constrained by the past... that blows... but side note I love the song scar tissue by the chilli peppers, and while I pride myself in listening to more obscure shit, that song is a guilty pleasure.

Sometimes, I remember what it was like to be innocent. :)

Do not try to bend the spoon; that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth.

There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
