she was in the hospital 2 days ago for having contractions 2 min apart for an hour or more... but she got sent home after they gave her an IV and i guess it relaxed her cervix. She was .5 " dilated.

it was 1.5 cm
and they gave her fluids to relax her cervix thats what they said, because she is dehydrated and i think thats why she was having contractions. I guess they said the cervix is a muscle and because of dehydration it was too tight

im almost 100% sure the contractions were because she was dehydrated. She was in the hospital the week before for 5 days and had to have 11 bags of fluids put into her IV.

im going to say she goes 41 weeks and gets induced.
hell with my first I went 41w6d..the next two were early ..this one will be early (induced) but..she's gonna tell him she's early so her dates line up...

shes probably in prodromal labor (google is your friend) which actually will change the cervix but BH doesn't do shit to the cervix, especially in a first timer...

I have no idea glad, an average baby is around 7 lbs at term..but I know of women that have 6 pounders and others that have 9 pounders regularly

2 dont know when the first US for dates was done (1st vs 2nd tri)
3. US dates are usually still + or - a week or so

first few weeks US is good to within +/- 3 days...second tri can be off by two weeks!
and fundal height is a lousy way to measure...Im on my fourth and measured behind two weeks behind until recently where I measure ahead by two weeks

then I'd say you're fine. a 5 week u/s is probably not going to be "off" by weeks. anyways, the DNA test is the final determinant. anything between now and then is purely speculation

I didn't take the First response until I had a faint little something on an internet cheapie test at 10DPO. On 11DPO i took the FRER (and an Answer and then in the middle of the night, a Digital LOL)
TTC did suck. It consumed my life for a little while there. Now I have something better to consume my life with
Ttc means trying to conceive....DPO means days past ovulation ....BFP means big fucking positive FMU means first morning urine FR means first response etc etc. Most women who TTC know those terms lol
