Has EF gone downhill ?

I get to work at 7:30 am.
I always work a little then by 9:00 am the board is very active.

^^That's the way it use to be. Nowadays I can reply to a thread, leave for 30 minutes, come back and it's only moved down a couple spots on the main page.

In the past it wasn't uncommon to see threads with several replies on page 2 which were only made an hour or so prior.

I also get depressed when I look down and see the list of "active members" currently online. It is only a fraction of what I've always seen it as.

Why is this?
I have my own theories, but I would like to hear yours first.

I would say it has, it seems to me a lot of the talk here is political fights anymore. That shit sucks and has no interest. Then the whole big push down with gear has hurt this board also. I say more Cooper type people for the C&C and who knows how to help the gear board, it's really trendy to be down on juice right now.

How do you think I have managed to survive IRL thus far?

It is sad when a handfull of smallminded imbeciles run off the good people from EF, but it is what it is. I, myself, have taken SEVERAL hiatuses from this site when it just got too toxic. No fanfare or anouncements, I just didn't log back on. I think my longest absence was over a year long.

I do feel that the quality people far outweigh the worthless douchebags, but sadly, the worthless douchebags also seem to be those with the biggest e-mouths so the good people are sometimes drowned out.

I understand what you are saying. I have been on the defensive with members of his low caliber for years, sad to say and I found that when I *do nothing* this fuels their insane need for negative attention in return from me as goodness knows they did little else to gain positive attention from me or anyone else. So they keep at it, always upping the ante and by the time the issue is addressed they have a bunch of equally hatefull sheeples on the bandwagon.
