Had to push harder than normal on inject site

Did a quad shot of deca and I had to push almost twice as hard as normal to get it in. It was kinda freaking me out I had to push so hard to get it in. Anyone have any input why? Also, it was 200mg, and I haven't hit that site in 2 weeks.

Scar tissue already? This is my first cycle and only the second time I've hit my left quad ever.....

Yea I've used the same gage for all my quad shots.

Eviction, no I switched needles after I drew

Ulter, yea thats what I think happened. Thanks

Had the same problem yesterday in my right quad. 1 ml of EQ. only the 3rd injection on that side in 3 weeks. Who knows why but I wouldn't worry about it. It feels quite normal today.

I usually twist the pin 180deg & if that doesn't work do like already said, back it out about 1/8 inch. Then if that doesn't work, I just push like hell & hope the syringe doesn't come apart like I've heard a few peopls say they've had happen to them.

I usually rotate the pins a bit while going in - seems to make it easier to go through tissue. Also - push a few drops of oil out onto the body of the pin prior to pushing the pin in. This seems to help "lubricate" the pin and makes it easier to push.

Rotating the pin on the way in? Why are you sticking it in so slowly? Use a quicker, stabing-type motion to put it in. Dont go so slowly that you actually can rotate it. Its not a drill, its a needle.

Scar tissue probably... rotate you injection site. Was it a new needle? Could have been a defective pin.

No way it was scar tissue then, I was wrong. I have found that I need to make sure my quad isn't "tense" when I inject there, maybe that is your problem?

i agree, it has to be from tension.. give her a good ol' rubdown. I've gotten so good at it that it is painless every time. and i havent had a bleeder since my first delt injection.

Why not go in slow Pimp? I like to go in slow, so if there is any problem, or if I begin to hit a nerve or something, I can feel it before it gets bad, back out and try again! Not that this happens often, but I have hit a nerve once or twice - GLAD that I was goin in slow and steady. I think goin in fast you are just asking to hurt yourself.
