Gyno surgery? (insurance paid for)

Is there anyway to get your insurance to pay for gyno surgery? Like for example if you had a pre existing condition of it as a child. I mean it is mostly from cycles but I'm thinking maybe I could pass it off as from puberty..... Anyone done this, I know the surgery is close to 10 grand in some cases.

Possibly if you have proof of a pre existing condition and it has to affect your everyday life... ie: very painful, etc...

I had it done twice. once for the right, then later devoloped in in the left. insurance paid for it all. almost no questions asked.

where are you, what insurance do you have, and where did you go to have the surgery??

Check out your insurance company's site. Do a search for 'gynecomastia' and you should find info on their policy regarding it.

They usually have details about whether or not it's considered 'cosmetic' and what prerequisites you need to meet in order for it to be covered.

heres the catch, if theirs a lump, they usually can't be certain its not cancer unless they remove it and have it tested. thats how my surgen explained it, not his exact words though, but I got what he was trying to say.

YES,,it is possible. Whater ever the case DO NOT mention any AAS use. Your insurance will surely deny it then.

had both sides of my chest done last year. removed 2 small lumps. insurance would not cover it. but then again i have crappy insurance. bluecross blue shield with a 2400 dollar deductible, but found a general surgeon who did the surgery for 3000 and that was including the doctor, day surgery hospital and anastegiolyst. it was done in corpus christi tx.
