I know most probably don't give a rats a*s, but I ran across a heck of a deal, yesterday. I was driving by a Recycled Sports in the city waiting on my daughter's hair appointment and decided to drop in. They sell equipment from Gyms that closed up and rich mofos that get high end equipment for their homes, but never work out and get rid of it. I saw a commercial gym quality Dip Stand and fell in love. It's white, V- Shaped and welded all in one piece with sand paper grip on top. Man, I started knocking out reps right there in the store. LOL!!:p I got it for $125. The other one I was planning on getting from NY Barbell doesn't even compare. I wish I had a pic to post for you guys, but just go to any good gym in your area and you should see one. It's in the garage now. I'm thinking about hitting it right now! LOL!!:D Man, I'm on cloud nine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lucky bastard... I just ordered a bodysolid dip stand and I'm regretting it already, I'm imaging a flimsy wobbly POS that bends the first time I use it :(

Nah, I have a BodySolid dip stand. I'm only 215, but I usually do dips with additional weight.

Getting the grips on was a bitch (still aren't on right) but the quality is fine, no complaints.

If I was buying now, though, I'd buy New York Barbell; their stuff kicks ass.

sughrue does it wobble at all when you use it? And how much extra weight are you strapping on for those dips... you weight the same as me so it's nice to hear its solid enough for you :)

The one I have bolts onto my BodySolid power rack, exactly the same as the standalone but the uprights and handles look similar.

It doesn't wobble at all. I generally strap on about 25 extra pounds, but have gone as high as 50 with no wobble. I haven't had to retighten the bolts, either, which I HAVE had to do with the power rack itself.

I have the stand alone BodySolid dip stand and it does wobble a bit when I'm quickly repping out dips. I'm afraid it's gonna tip if I keep using more weight.
