I am posting a poll dealing addressing how many members listen to some type of portable music device when they train. All the gyms that I go play either top 40 shit or easy listening, so I have always listened to a CD player. :chomp:

My iPOD goes everywhere I go.

how do you guys train with any thing on your body (other than clothing)... it's a comfort thing i think, and also i don't want to smash my cd player while doing oly lifts. i can't even wear a watch while lifting.

I would have to say that I feel wierd not working out with my CD player attached to my body. I normally place my CD holder in the small of my back when lifting, and keeps it from interferring with lifts like squat and deadlift. I also would have to note that I workout in a college gym, which has the ambiance of a 24 hour, but more people, and people there all the time. So, I have to listen to CDs.

The best would be if gym radio plays good music

God damn, I forgot my CD holder yesterday, and I had to listen to the gym music/stupid fucking people talking. With shit like Alicia Keyes playing (which is fine in other contexts) and stupid assholes and bitches shooting the shit, it was hard to focus. Never again will I forget my CD holder! :chomp:
