Damn, a 250lbs wide-out that is faster and stronger than most if not all LB's in the NFL. I would not want to go head up with him. He look's unreal in that picture. I would say he is on something for sure. 90 pills or not.

Sure the guy has amazing genetics. But he is on a entirely new level.

He is the biggest receiver in the history of the league. BTW Coles actually runs a 4.1 40, so that reporter is stupid.

I agree. Definitely taking something. He's a helluva wide out though.

He is on stuff but so is 75% of the NFL so who really cares. Ever watch a game on ESPN Classic from 10 yrs ago, the guys are half the size and now they are way faster. Hes a genetic freak and drugs have helped him make some coin. Doesnt bother me.

It must be creatine and protien.

It sounds like a great deal of jealously floating around his former and current teammates and trainers. That remark about him breaking down by Halloween is absolutley ridiculous. There are those morbidly obese offesive linemen that haul those hanging bellies up and down the field all season.

The further remark in the article about him putting on that much muscle from the use of hGH simply demonstrates how uninformed those poor misguided fools are.

The bottom line is that ESPN absolutley hates bodybuilding and anything associated with it. If given the opportunity to smear bodybuilding ESPN is there and running with it.

I wish this guy the best for an injury free season and hope he kicks some ass.

ya in the past, but i think he's going to have a very well year!

He'll produce well until (I predict) he injures a hamstring at some point and sits out atleast 4 games...

Though I hope not, I like the Chargers, and they might be a decent team with Brees, Tomlinson, and Boston on offense...

I couldn't agree more, people need to chill out on the haterade. I hope he kicks ass.

I like on the message board where the picture was a guy was talking about his bf percentage and saying it may not be healthy that low and arnold in the 70's had a > 1% bf, lol, what a retard, david is on of my favs, great article!

Just for the record NOBODY has ever had a bf as low as 1%...

i dont get whats with the "holier than thou" context that the writer is creating. I mean c'mon the whole fucking league uses roids.

Im sure that his old teamates and friends are concerned when he is wearing different colored contacts and showing up with multiple piercings and what not (i mean you are a proffessional and making money playing football, no need to be wondering where you fit in in society ) but regarding using steriods thats fucking bullshit......they all do.

But again Boston isnt making it easy for the media to write good shit about him.

he could then do steroids as well though. He wouldn't be getting tested.

21" arms? I don't think so. Arnolds arms were 20" back 75'.

I'll say his are around 19".

They also said Boston wasn't catching the ball as well as he was before. Wonder if the HGH is making those hands sore.

This is funny b/c I was watching the Bucs game last night thinking that Thomas Jones was looking big as fuck compared to the other guys. Seems that him and Boston were best buds.

I dont think that his arms are 19 or 20, more like 17 or 18's. You look bigger when your lean. He is definantly on something, but shit who in the NFL isn't? For a couple of million a year, I'd damn sure be as big and as fast as I could be. Kudo's to the man.

What's disturbing is how detailed the article is? How do they have that much info...people are quick to talk.

My educated guess is that he is using GH, IGF1 R3, insulin and Amino Acids. Amino acids in HIGH doses have steroids like effects. Of course the average BBer cannot afford 60-100g of amino acids a day. Most people use 1-3g of BCAA a day if that.

I don't think he can risk taking steroids with all the attention on him.

My arms are over 20" pumped although not as ripped as he appears to be. I would say his are around that size, but surely not 21".
Although I don't think he's entirely clean he's certainly one who can afford to take the natural supplements in quantities that will be effective.

Boston is a fucking badass. No one in the NFL is as crazy about being in shape as he is. Plus I'd put money on him vs. anyone else his weight in a race. I drafted him on my fantasy team so he's destined for greatness! ...though he's going to be double teamed since SD has no one else to through to.

GH alone can put that much solid muscle on like that?

Read the article man...he's on like 3294014 different things that supposedly "naturally" help him get big. ...Not just GH. The guy takes 90 pills a day for the love of God!

Boston is just another example, albeit a more visible one, of NFL guys juicing. Shit, even the oldtimers do it. I read that Romanoski has a suitcase of pills that travels with him, that old motherfucker would be so outta the game if it weren't for "supplements".

DrG

big deal.....fuck everyone juices at big time levels..... from football to track and field.....if not juice then alot of gh......it is just the playing level these days

Tiger, I have a hard time believing that EVERYONE in the NFL juices. EVERYONE is tested once a year and there are random tests required throughout the year. I think it would be pretty risky to do. ...That's assuming of course that they use the policy fairly and don't cover up anything. Anyway...here is a rundown of the NFL Anabolic Steriod Policy:

What is tested? Anabolic steroids, growth hormones and Beta-2-agonists (Clenbuterol, etc.), Human Chorionic Gonadatropin, diuretics and other masking agents, ephedrine and certain other stimulants, dietary "supplements" containing prohibited substances, other substances related to the above.

Who is tested? All players at least once a year, usually during preseason. There also is year-round random testing.

Penalties: First positive test: suspension without pay for four regular and/or postseason games and/or medical evaluation; second positive test: suspension without pay for six regular and/or postseason games and/or medical evaluation; third positive test: minimum one-year suspension.

Noone jealous just stating the obvious. The league is dominated by drugs whether u want to believe it or not. Its not just a coincidence lineman are so much bigger today and LB's weigh as much as old time dlineman yet are just as fast as old school dbs'. Look at Romanowskis recent outburst he broke his teammates eye socket not to mention the other 10 anger related problems hes been fined for. Just a coincidence I dont think so. Im sure there are some gentic freaks but there are way too many of them in the nfl today IMO

I am speaking only of the players that are "enhanced" but nothing like boston, talking shit. We all know that the majority of the players are juiced up.

Assuming everyone gets tested at least 1 time a year...that limits them to like 1-2 cycles a year...and also limits WHAT they can cycle. Also, the random tests are year round...so if they are doing a cycle in the off-season they can still get caught.

I don't buy into the generalizations being made about the NFL players. I would like to know where you guys who "all know they are juiced" get your facts...maybe you can change my mind.

If you want to talk about steriod problems in sports...talk about baseball.

ummm dont forget there an loooong off season.....test suspension is out your system in a few days....orals are gone fast too....not everyone juices but alot do.....so many d 1 football players do..... but lets not forget the NFL guys work hard as hell, got good genetics great coaching and a lot of drive......juice is just the icing on the cake...

Bull....

Incorrect. My dead uncle's bodyfat hovers around 1%. It is tough to keep consistent levels with the maggots and all, though...

:alien:

What's the big deal on this dude? anyone with decent genetics can make gains like that, it's not unachevable you know. Why are people so imressed i will never know. Unless they have garbage genetics.

thats true tiger. If anyone actually saw a real bodybuilder they would be shocked. I met flex wheeler and saw a pro down the shore at a bar and they are no joke. i thought I was in good shape and a decent sized guy (although no where near where I want to be) and then u see them and u realize how small u are.

Hell, in COLLEGE damn near everyone was juicing, so the pros?

Bro you have got to post some pics of your self, to not be impressed with the speed, size and dedication of this guy you must be a god.

Look who is doing most of the questioning...journalists. When was the last time you saw a 250 lb writer @ anything less than 18% bf? Hot dogs and donuts do not a good physique make. I think a lot of the NFL players are just hating on him. So he works hard and has good genetics. Should he be sorry about that? As stated earlier, I too am fairly confident most of the league is on gear. I am in the military, and if the NFL "random" drug test is anything like it is here, well let's just say it isn't perfect.

Are there any photoshop jedis in here? Once the season starts, if Boston stays healthy, we should put up an Owned! picture every week for every DB that Boston houses.:)

hey levrone did a 4.4 - 4.5 40/yrd dash at 242 lbs, if he weighed 15 lbs less like he often weighs, then i think he could be pretty damn fast

Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson both ran in the 4.3 vicinity. They were both 215-220'ish. Herschel Walker ran a 10.3 100 meters, which could be considered world class although it'd never win a world title.

David Boston sucked this weekend.. I picked him for my fantasy team based on this thread.. and he had only 2 catches??

Or perhaps we can put the David Boston "Owned" thread regarding whatever DB holds him to a paltry 2 catches per week...What's that come out to, about 1/2 million dollars per catch per season...

I don't think that you need steroids to look like david boston if you have a hard work ethic, perfect diet, and perfect genetics. However to put on that much size that quick and drop your bf from 10% - 5% your definatley cheating.

charles poliquin also trained that one line man from the chargers the one you incline presses 225lb dumbells for 5 reps now thats fawking sick

Yeah bro, in my ESPN the magazine article it said he weighed 210 lbs. in 2001 while playin at Ohio State. Awesome growth for 2 years if you ask me. I mean he's almost 260 now....unbelievable.

BULLSHIT!!! You need to go back and do some research! When Levrone most reectly raced that world class sprinter (I forget what his name is), Levrone ran a 5.0 or 5.1 40/yrd dash.

4.4 - 4.5 40/yrd dash!!! ROTFLMFAO!!! That is THE funniest shit that I've heard in my life!

Hey pyrros check this out, Flex reported the time wrong, in statements all made by some pros that were there, he did 40 meters in 4.8 seconds. lets look at this together now.......40 meters equals 44 yards, doesn't sound like a whole lot but that about 7.5% difference. So take his time 4.8 seconds and multiply that by 92.5%, which would be the time it takes him to cover 40 YARDS. and what do we get???? 4.44 seconds

thats not too bad for someone who doesn't train for speed, and is bulked up. and he was done sub 4.5 second 40yrd for the Gladiators....

i could drop another page of RESEARCH on you but i'll be kind, just dont tell me to do my research when the farthest you look is right up your ass

Yeah....this is true......but Levrone is the exception to the rule.....I say Coleman runs the 40 in about 3:47... ...at 241 in college I ran it in 4.75....and I was damn impressed with myself......so Boston is a trucking......I need to be in the NFL....so I can afford all of the top shelf pediatric HGH.....

oh yea im not takin anything away from boston, but i do agree, ronnie and ruhl probably to the 40 in about how long it takes them to fit their bulky asses on a forklift
