Tiger, I have a hard time believing that EVERYONE in the NFL juices. EVERYONE is tested once a year and there are random tests required throughout the year. I think it would be pretty risky to do. ...That's assuming of course that they use the policy fairly and don't cover up anything. Anyway...here is a rundown of the NFL Anabolic Steriod Policy:
What is tested? Anabolic steroids, growth hormones and Beta-2-agonists (Clenbuterol, etc.), Human Chorionic Gonadatropin, diuretics and other masking agents, ephedrine and certain other stimulants, dietary "supplements" containing prohibited substances, other substances related to the above.
Who is tested? All players at least once a year, usually during preseason. There also is year-round random testing.
Penalties: First positive test: suspension without pay for four regular and/or postseason games and/or medical evaluation; second positive test: suspension without pay for six regular and/or postseason games and/or medical evaluation; third positive test: minimum one-year suspension.
