Jens, I just wanted to let you know that I am so very proud of you 1 more time (in case you didn't already know lol).

You have come so far, from where you began, and your progress has been amazing. Maybe you aren't where you wish you were (I read in a post that you wished you were leaner) but that's ok, this show is your first show, and you'll learn a bunch from it.

I want you to remember when you go out there on that stage, that you gave it your all (which is all that matters) and you worked very hard. Go out there with your head up high, and show them what you worked hard for. And before going on stage tell yourself you're the sexiest woman in the building. ;)

I'll be cheering for you, and I'm sending lots of good luck vibes.

Just relax, and enjoy the experience and you'll do great :)

Jen, forget the luck, just go out there and kick ass. You've prepared yourself for this with the determination of Patton, and are already a winner in my book.

LOL -- I just took my drug test!! It was kind of weird......but I passed!!

And I only have to wear my 2 piece suit -- there's no 1 piece round...

todays the day girl. be confident, stay clam, smile, and kick some arse. oh, and tripping the other girls wont hurt either... lol... seriously, your it girl, no one can stop you. look the judges in the eye and tell them you own the stage. its yours, take it, now go do it!!!!!!!!

As I sit here with rollers in my hair at 7am and eating cold steak on rice --I needed to hear that.....thanks for posting it!!

It's going well!! As the only competitor in Master's Figure - I win!! Yay me!!

So they put me in Figure Open & I'm also doing Figure Novice. Got some good comments from others -- like my suit fit me well, I just need to smile a little bigger and that I look poised. Actually, I think I'm 10 years older than all the other girls in my classes!!

Got to go back for the evening show & do it all again for show!!

LOL - funny story - I'm on stage doing my poses & one of my false eyelashes is popping off the whole time.....

see, i told you to smile... it makes a huge difference. a womans eyes and smile mean the world. i hope you did great. you deserve it. let us know.

Dang guys.............. :lmao:

I'll post the pics when I get home.....I won Master's Figure - only cuz I was the only one.....LOL And I got 4th place in Novice & 8th in Open Figure -- basically last in both. I need to be leaner & work on my "presentation skills." Since my trainer didn't come with me to the show - I feel I was missing guidance I could have used....

Funny story - the power went out - so they had to do the evening show outside the school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL And the guest posers were a couple - man/woman who did a very risque sex-inspired routine together -- they kept kissing & stuff....

Went to Ruby Tuesday's with some people afterwards & I got applauded by a group of people who were at the show! Made my night!!

Oh and I'm mad at my trainer...........
 
JEN!!!! I'm so proud of you. The next show is 4 weeks away, plenty of time to focus on what you need to do. I can't wait to see in September.

WOOHOO for master's figure! i'm sure you looked amazing jens - awwe i'm sorry your trainer didn't go it probably would have helped a bit...i'm guessing at least...let us know how the sept. comp. goes you HOTTY WITH THE BODY!!!!!!!!! :p :heart: great job and i'm really proud of you :rose: :)

You need to:

1. Post the pics
2. Fire the trainer and get a new one
3. Basque in your sucess for a bit
4. Plan your next show and continue getting leaner

I really have to give a lot of credit to the show promoter & everyone involved for being so professional and handling the power outage so well......Of all the things that could've happened!!

I was very nervous on stage - I felt like I was shaking like a leaf!!

I agree, except for 3. The Basques :argue: are a bunch of revolutionaries :bigbuck: . Nothing but trouble on stage.

Just under a month until the next show. You know what you gotta do.

I really hope I can make it to the next one. I'll take plenty of pics too.
