I did deadlifts yesterday and everything was sore today. Did some shrugs today so tomorrow I might die when I wake up because of the shock from pain. Damn, I love that feeling.

Do deadlifts damn it. It will make your whole body ache but you will love yourself. Don't forget proper technique and use a belt if necessary. I use one because I sort of have a bad lower back. Damn it, it won't stop me though.:D

Can I get a hell yeah for dead lifts and being sore all over?

Hell yeah!!! I did deadlifts yesterday also...and my lower back was so tight/sore today that it almost made me sick several times. It hurts, but you gotta love that feeling!!! :) What kind of numbers did you pull?

Come on baby. You know I don't talk about stats. I will say that not very impressive because of my lower back problem, bad knee and hip. It's mostly the lower back though. I can go a lot heavier but my doctor is pissed off at me already. I'm just happy I can do them. :)

Deadlifts are fun!!! I was doing high rep sets but have gradually been dropping the number of reps down. Today will be 3-4 sets of 5 reps. Hopefully I'll be able to pull some good weight.

Massive size:

Start with an easy set of 20 on the deadlift. Add ten pounds per week. When you can't add weight and get the reps. Kepp adding the 10 poounds and let the numbers drop slightly each w/o until you have a new 1RM PR.

Deadlifts helped put a lot of mass on me. Although not world class or anything, I got up to 500x5 and 525x3 with no belt. Stiff legged off the ground with 455x3. But I've had recurring tenderness in my lower ab/pelvic region, so I've laid off for now. Kinda sucks.

On a different note, a year ago I went in to the chiropractor for a mildly jacked up L5 (warming up with 225- go figure.), and he said that my spine had bulked up and had a couple of little spurs on it from going heavy for the past few years. I thought that was pretty neat :) Wish I could have kept the X-ray.

Where's Bfold? I bet he can pull some scary poundage. Wodin is up there too, from what I've heard.

I know fold hit like an easy 630 a couple weeks ago.

Wodin should enter bench contests 565 for 4 a while back
