Going To Fix My House W/O the Insurance I am it is a Wise Decision

WE have heard the insurance company is still investigatioin and they think it might be 3 more weeks. I have got their clearance to start work because they have all the evidence they need from the loss site(my home I love how they call it that). They say it is going to take longer since it was definetely arson. My wife is scared to move back so I am going to install more motion detectors and video survellance like Tony Montana did in scarface to his pad. It is going to be costly but I want my family to feel and be secure.

I am going to have all the contractors send there bids to the insurance company so if if and when they decide to pay there won't be not desprepencies on them paying reimbursing me later.

I am really thankful to the Lord for protecting my family that night and I have seen so many weird parculiar thing how the Lord is revealing to who arsoned our house. But I know the power of prayer and there are so many people praying for us right now you can see the Lord doing his stuff and it is amazing. Ya'll prayers would be appreciated very much too.

It is a little scary thinking that someone was trying to burn my house down and kill my family in the process.

I might be starting some threads for help on the rebuild if ya'll don't mind. There is a wealth of information from some very smart people here and I do refer to ya'll and think of you as my cyber friends.

My advice is to get your own investigator to check it out and give you a report before any work is done. That way you have some way of challenging the ins. company if need be.

you talking about fire investigators or private investigators?

Both, you can find one that specializes in fire investigations, usually they are former LE or fire marshalls, just make sure you check that they have an arson investigation background.

You and your family are in my prayers curling.

Your local fire department might be able to look into it a little more. Fire Departments are always studying fires because it allows them to identify and control similar fires.

Our local FD has an investigator who likes to follow up on previous fires so that he can teach others what to look for.

All it will cost you is a little time to ask.

Good luck man. Hook machine guns up to the motion detectors, dig a moat and install sharks with lazer beams. I so want a moat....
