Going to buy a bike

Well start doubling. I have over 1800 cc's, 120+ hp, and more torque that your rice burner does. So unless I snap the belt I will be going forward while your wheel is still in the air. Two blocks sound good. :D

Well, I guess you really got me there didn't you. BTW the GSXR1000 makes approx. 150 HP, and 77 ft-lb of torque, stock out of the crate. Ohhh, and it weighs about 375 lbs., how much does your 1800 cc cruiser weigh??? hahahaha, thought so. Try crunchin' those numbers, then get back to me with your power to weigh ratio.

And please, belt drive has been proven time and time again to be an inferior way to transmit power over chain and sprockets. I'm sure that thing disturbs bird migratory patterns quite nicely though with the chirping that must come outta that belt drive trying to schlep around that hefty sled.

Go take that 1000 lb. chunk of hopes and dreams elsewhere.

:lmao:

The first time you throw a leg over that monster will be the last time anyone ever sees poor little WizKid alive again.

Ohhhh as Gilda Radner would say "ehh nevermind." :D

By the way this ain't no harley it is a bourget with an S&S that is tricked out but I don't got a 150 horseys so you got me GSXR1000 but I don't have to blow up my bike cause I went down last weekend and I might as well have done that because I think it is going to cost a 10k to put her back together. But I bet I am more confortable than you going down the and I definetely look cooler. :D

Hey it's cool, I wasn't trying to make this a macho big swinging dick contest anyway, I just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

I'm more after performance and sleek lines than comfort, although I have ridden an entire day long with only a slight twinge in my back, but I can deal with that.

That's cool bro. I still think the bike would surprise you if we ever happen to meet on the street and hit it. And I still think I could take any 600 unless their stats are higher than mine.

Horsepower and engine size have nothing to do with speed. It's all about weight and gearing. I had a 2-stroke 250cc Yz that will out run most "rice burners" 0-80 all day. That's like saying a dupt truck is faster that a vette just because it has more HP. It doesn't work that way.

Hmmmm, well, according to your school of thought that would mean that you on your 10-speed would out accerlerate that same aforementioned Vette, simply if the bicycle was geared properly..................I personally would love to see you pedal that fast. (want a PowerBar)

If horsepower has nothing to do with speed then why don't they just stick a tiny little 80cc 2-stroke engine into those 220 mph MotoGP racebikes, save all that weigh in the engine, and just gear them really tall. I think you need to take a couple of courses in physics.

Actually, horsepower has a tremendous bearing on both speed and quickness (although power-to-weight ratio plays an equally important role).

HP does play a role in speed you just can't use it as a deciding factor in what is "faster" weight, gearing etc play just as much a role in how fast a bike will be. I'm just saying just because something has double the HP doesn't mean it is faster..More powerful Yes
