Going for Gyno surgery in the morning wish me luck

How long was you out of the gym?

Well, they tell you not to do anything too drastic for about two months after the surgery to allow your chest to fully recover. I could have definitely worked out, but it would have made the surgery pointless, so I took their advice and waited two months. It sucked, but had to be done.

No lower body work or cardio?

Good luck bro. No worries, had it done about 3 yrs ago myself. U'll be back in the gymm in a few weeks. Just eat right and enjoy ur rest.

There is no reason to be nervous man. I got gyno surgery a few years back and it was harmless. All I remember was laying down, then someone shook me and said "wake up, you have to go home". They give you a compression vest when you leave. I was up and moving an hour after the surgery. No pain, scars, or anything. You'll be fine.

Yeah! the anesthesia they give you now days makes hours turn into nothing, its almost like you nodded off for a second.
Good Luck

If your gyno prone couldnt it possibly just grow back? :(

Best money I ever spent. No worries bro. You will be back in the gym in no time. And yes it can come back, but if nothing else, having to have the surgery will make you over prepared for it flaring up again.

It's not good to put stress on your chest. I did very, very light cardio. I increased the intensity as the weeks went on, but nothing too crazy. I really wanted to recover and make sure my chest didn't have any problems. Even if you do lower body work, at some point you are going to squeeze your chest to add more pressure to your legs, or whatever it is you are working out.

Your doctor should tell you exactly what you need to know. Mine was so long ago I hardly remember the details, I just remember them telling me I had to take off from football, and I could not lift. It really got me down when I heard that, but when I saw my chest a couple of months later, well, it was worth it.

Thanks for all the support...here I am laying in bed with this damn chest strap on me that I have to wear all day and night. Surgery was yesterday and went well.. Im just feeling alittle pain as if I were really really sore....The real pain is mentally. I cant lift for a month they say..I dont think I can wait that long..Im deff going to the gym in a few days to do some light cardio..I have been outta the gym for two days and im having withdrawals lol...I guess just eat right and do some light cardio while I heal......I just keep looking forward till April 1. Start of my cycle. :)
