Hey Guys I had to share this, when I started this 10 months ago my goal was to bench 405 lbs. Today I pushed 390 for two, good clean reps. I didnt try 405 cause it was not part of todays routine. I felt like I could have maybe gott it, but I will definatley be giving it a shot in the very near future. :)
 
Let us know when you reach that goal!

I hit a long time goal of hitting 290+ in body weight, clean, a few weeks ago. Still hovering around that. 295 is next!

Really not all that much have always been fairly strong on the bench. Started 10 months ago, after six year lay off, walked in the gym doing 5 sets of 5 with 225. Within three months I was benching 300 natural. Done about 14 weeks of Sust ended up around 375 to 380 max. The amazing part to me is that the last 15 pounds I have added, were completely natural no creatine, no nothing. I just work out hard and continue to get stronger and stronger. I am about 192 pounds now, I hope that my next cycle coming up really soon will get me to around 215 to 220, and we will see where the bench goes from there.
 
nice work, 405 at 190-195 is a very strong bench. If you doubled 390 you can without a doubt do 405, if not its just in your head cause its 4 wheels! what did you do for sets before your 390? what do you plan to do before the 405 attempt, this is where alot of lifters fail, they over exert themselves on warmups and are out of gas by the time they get to the weight they were chasing.

Okay Guys Mission Accomplished. Finally got back around to try a max yesterday. Done a few warm ups with light stuff. Hit 315 for 3, 350 for 2, 385 for 2. Went to 405 really easy crushed 2 reps, could have maybe done 2 more. Ended up at 425 for a single. Went up good and smooth, slight pause on the very bottom, but powered it up from there. Time to reset the bar and keep pushing forward.Body Weight right now is 198 lbs.
 
That's awesome man.

My personal best is 415 lbs at 5'8" and 205 lbs body weight.

Thats awesome. That is my goal right now aswell. I have the strength but shoulder and elbows issues are a problem. I can hit 315 for 8 and 335 for 5 and 350 for 3 but I havent tried 365 yet. Maybe in a few months 405 will be within reach.
