why is it that everyone (exceptions: UK, Aussies, Canada, and of course Israel, possibly a couple other unamed countries) says ok ok ok we got your back but is it ok if we watch it from our country. the french, the germans, the Japanese, and shit for that matter most of the world owes the USA for reconstructing and proctecting their shit ass political and economic structures. I mean really is it too much for the USA to ask them to send a token force over for show. What good is NATO if countries can pick and choose when they want to be members.
I mean all we want is a couple hundred guys (maybe less) from each country to show that NATO is as advertised "a coalition of nations opposed to oppression and immorality amongst the nations of the world" But nooooooooooo they don't want the raghead terrorists (my apologies to non-raghead terrorists types from the region) to view them as possible jihad candidates. I got news for those countries if you aren't 100% fundamentalist muslim you are a jihad candidate.
This is what's wrong with the world today. Everyone runs their mouth and promises this and that, and then when it comes time to "put up or shut up" most people shut up and go hide under their beds. I know I am new here but one of the most appealing things about this board is that (for the most part) it is populated with "do'ers" people who are willing to put their ass's on the line when it's called for.
In closing I would like to pose this question: "How can a nation be considered a world power if it never reaches outside of it's borders to lend a hand when it's needed?"
