GI Tract Infection while on, what can I expect?

I am currently in week 6 of my 12 week test 600mg/week cycle and have recently started tren 75mgs EOD last week. I went from 190 to 218 in this time period, however, this past thursday I developed an infection of my GI tract possibly due to some spoiled food (it got really warm here fast in NYC), over-indulgence (bulking), or maybe from immuno-suppresion from the tren. Whatever it was I had severe stomach pain with excessive vomiting and diarrhea and was hospitalized half of friday and recieved IV antibiotic treatment. Both Friday and Saturday, after being on antibiotics, I was doing alot better but was still barely able to eat, only downing an occasional protein shake here and there with some chicken soup and fruit juice. I also still had excessive diarrhea, like 8-10 loose stools on Saturday alone. I weighed myself today, I weighed in at 208, so I basically lost 10 lbs in two days, this should be almost all water weight Im assuming correct? If muscle, how much would it have been possible to lose in these two days even with some eating? Just today I have only regained some of my appetite and am eating alot more. Should I focus on carbing up, drinking plenty of fruit juice and the like? Tommorow I will go back to the gym after these three days, what can I expect even though I am still on cycle? How long before I am back in full force and strength? I just want some feedback from some other bros who have had similar experiences, thanks.

You probably lost a lot of water waeight, muscle glycogen, fat and a little muscle mass. Overall, I suggest you go into your PCT and take time off from the gym/AS for at least 8 weeks.

I can understand ending his cycle but why do you recommend he stay out of the gym for 8 weeks?

Well I don't think I'd be coming off this soon, I was planning to start a course of HCG next week (500IU's /week, for weeks 7-10) to assist my recovery before I come off. When I was hospitalized, I was told by my doctor that I could continue to workout, however I should just focus on resting these next few days and drinking plenty of fluids then gradually go back to eating my normal diet and resume lifting.

Your health is more important then anything, so anything you can do to rest up and recover - you need to do. Most people abuse their body too much, that's why they have a ton of health problems down the road.

Appreciate the advice, would give some K but I need to spread to others first. I mean, I really think Ill be okay to continue lifting, should I just not go all out and lower the volume and intensity? While gradually eating more, like 3000-3500 calories a day?

Do you know what antibiotic you were given?

You should slow down and let your body recover. I'm no doctor bro, but commonse sense will tell you - your body needs a break :coffee:
