This is very telling. And encouraging.

ALL of these guys are known for doing 3 things.

Training hard their whole life.

Using very low dose, occasional cycles along with tons of supplements.

Using HRT. ( And maybe a little more).

Granted, they have fabulous genetics, but it really says something for the PROPER bodybuilding lifestyle, of which steroids are a part. But not the MAIN part.

Check it out. Draper, Scott, Robinson, Zane, Beckles and Ferrigno, are all 60 and over. Nubret is 69. Delmontique is 80.

Don't tell me we haven't surpassed natures plan.

I was always a fan of Serge, so I went to his website and found this, which bummed me out. Although he is 70.

To cut a long story short and to stop the rumors available on the internet, we have decided to publish this official statement concerning Serge Nubret's health state.

On March 19 2009, our father was discovered home, in a coma by firemen. He was immediately transfered to the Lariboisiere hospital. Since that, Serge Nubret is under the supervision of the hospital's medical staff. For now, the diagnosis is a
hypoglycemic coma probably due to a malfunction of the pancreas. The explorations continues while Serge Nubret is in rehabilitation. We will keep you informed of any change in its health state.

Meanwhile, we suspend the website.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

His children.

That sucks. Sad to hear. Just goes to show you -- aging will catch up to you one way or another. But he looked damn good up until that point! I hope he pulls through.

That does suck. I copied this from Wikipedia:

In 2006, 68-year-old Serge Nubret penned the book I am…Me and God in collaboration with Louis-Xavier Babin-Lachaud. The book is not only autobiographical in nature, but it also includes his personal reflections on his Christian faith and mysticism of the author. Through his life narrative, it adopts a definite position on the role of God in this world, on the conflict between destiny and free will and on the illusion of this world. More than an assembly of memories, the book indicates the will to succeed and to follow the way traced by God, love of the "reason to be" author, that is not other than the bodybuilding.
A second work, just published, is a 400+ page autobiography entitled Seventy Years Young. At the time of release (April 2009), it was learned that Serge Nubret suffered a stroke in Paris, France. As of early May 2009, he is recovering.:(

It Does suck,i've been there (health issues) several times, it's part of life,we're all human, the only thing you can do is live each day to it's fullness, that's why it's called "the present".

Those old guys look better then 95% of the people on this board I'd be willing to bet, me included.

You can be an old hunched over, weak and feeble old man, or you can train hard your whole life, think young, take full advantage of the body God gave you, and look awesome you're whole life. The choice is yours.
