I eat a steak almost everyday. And have prime rib at least 3x a week when I go out to dinner.

I usually go to California Pizza Kitchen and have a pizza. Unless I am babysitting my neighbors boy and then we have Pizza Hut delivered while we watch Dragonball Z or whatever it is called.

Down here there is no shortage of seafood. It can be addictive. However, I love the Vietnamese Pho Soup better. 3-4 different kinds of meats, rice noodles, onions, seasoning, and a broth that takes 24 hours of straight cooking before it is ready to serve. They dump all the stuff in a huge bowl raw... and the broth is so hot when they put it in there, you can't eat it for 5-10 minutes... by that time the meat and noodles have cooked.

The Southwest is fast food central.

I live of low fat chicken. Make burritos with corn tortillas and then there's youghurts, milk, meat, etc.. etc..

Not a lot of variety.......a LOT of fast food places though. Probably why everybody is tubby around here.

I eat a steak every night, too. Good shit!! All I eat is top sirloin though because it gets expensive putting down $6.99/lb ny strip or ribeyes every night. I also have one of my meals in the middle of the day made with cut up foreman'd top sirloin and rice cooked with some olive oil and chicken broth cubes. Yummay. Getting kind of sick of it though.

What food do you bring to work??

How much rice/oil/water/broth????
Im interested in this recipe.

Alright here's what I do.

Fire up the Foreman. I usually cook up 2-3 meals at a time all to be eaten at work. I cut up one chicken breast per meal into bite size pieces, and one of the meals is steak so I'll cut up some top sirloin as well. Get a pot and fill it up with 5 cups of water. Add roughly 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the water. I use garlic flavored olive oil. Throw in a chicken bullion cube or two, too. Bring the water to a boil. I use 1/4 cup of rice per meal, so it's either 1/2 cup(2 meals) or 3/4 cup(3 meals) total rice. Add the rice to the water and bring the heat down to LOW, cover the pot with a lid, and let it sit for 10 minutes until the rice is done cooking. Grill the chicken and the steak on the foreman for 5 minutes. Once the rice is done cooking, drain the water and mix the meat in with it. At this point I add pepper and either Mexican, Cajun, or standard chicken seasoning to the meat and rice and mix it all up.

I wanna ask AAP a question, i wanna ask a question.

What are your daily maintenance calories when you aren't bulking or cutting. People on another boards keep saying that for every pound of muscle a person gains their metabolism boosts by 50 calories but if that were true some people on EF would eat like 5500 a day just to maintain.

Casavant, Wodin, or whomever else has about 60 lbs of lean body mass above the average individual can answer this one too if you'd like.

I don't know how to answer this. I am never really bulking nor cutting. I am simply growing. There is a difference there. I get bigger, but I don't do it while putting on fat.

Too be honest, I have never really added up my daily calories.. instead, I just concentrate on getting my protein down.

I can post what I ate today if someone wants to add up the calories and such.

Ok... here goes....

8AM had 60 grams of ion exchanged whey (protein factory) in water and half a Diet Coke. (6 ounces)

after showering and doing some calls about 10AM I had 2 grilled turkey burgers with BBQ sauce (no bread) and some oatmeal.

1130 - one chicken breast, liter of water

1230 - 40 grams ion exchanged whey in water

130-200 training quads. Yes, I did a quad workout in only 30 minutes.. 6 sets of non lock squats for 20 reps, 275 pounds, heels on board, all the way down to my ass and all the way up to about 2 inches short of lock out. At rep 15, I would stand up and flex my quads as tight as I could and take 5 deep breaths and then get the last 5 reps. 3 minutes rest between sets.

200 - 42 grams Lean Body (only kind I buy at the gym).. then I add another 20 grams ion exchanged whey, 70 grams dextrose, 10 grams glutamine that I bring in a bag with me and dump in the blender.

315-330 (approx) 2 chicken breasts (in a wok with onions, peppers, soy sauce) potato slices (baked) spinach salad.

500 - 40 grams ion exchanged whey in water and a glass of cranberry juice

800 - Went by a Salvadore resturant and had 10 ounce steak, grilled chicken breast and 4 grilled shrimp (for only $7). Water to drink

1145 (now) in about 10 mins I will have 60 grams of protein (ion exchanged) and a tablespoon of peanut butter with a dash of flax seed.

Ok that is it...
