To warm up quads........leg extensions x 4 sets...15 reps
higher reps.............squats x 4 sets...........15 reps
........................leg press x 4 sets........15 reps
........................lunges x 4 sets...........across/back gym
Hamstrings..............stiff legged deads x 4 sets..15 reps
........................leg curls x 4 sets.........15 reps
I often incorporate one leg at a time with exercises such as leg extensions, leg presses, and leg curls. This enables me to focus on that mind/muscle link and make the weaker leg work independently. I also split up my quad and hamstring workouts, because which ever one you do second will suffer because of exerting so much power to the first in the order.
