I dropped a 100 lb plate on toe #4 (2nd smallest)......it fuckin' kills!.....just had to vent......

my toes hurt just from thinking about that.

Sorry to hear about your toe.

Back in high school, our locker rooms had some incline benches set up b/c the gym was too crowded. Well this 105lb long distance runner is screwing around and there was 140lb on the bar (a 45 and 2 1/2 on each side.) the guy has no shoes on cause he is getting dressed- He knows he cant lift the 140lb incline so he goes to pull the 45's off to put on 25's. He didn't see the 2 1/2 plate on the outside of the 45 and it fell on his little toe. It squashed like a grape from only a 2.5lb plate from like 4'.

Hopefully you don't feel so bad now.

Man, I just sliced the shit out of my big toe last week on the bottom corner of a heavy ass steel door walking into the gym. My girl kept on telling me to not where my nike sandals to the gym but I just didn't listen. Still don't. My shit's still fucked up though. Could've definitely used some stitches, but I guess it will heal up sooner or later. So, I feel your pain bro, even though 100 pounds on the toe sounds crucial! Take it easy and I hope it heals up quick for ya! Maybe I should where gym shoes to gym from now on.

today it's a nasty shade of black and blue and look like it's gonna fall off......last night I seriously considered getting it amputated because it hurt so much .....thank god I had some percocets.....

That sucks bro- when i saw the name of this thread i thought something was seriously wrong... gald it's nothing major.

I slammed my pinky toe in the door and its black and blue now and started bleading underneath the nail. When it happened i was swearing like no other- shit hurts.
