Look for masochistic tendencies. For example, low self-esteem, cuts on wrists, past drawn out relationships in which she got treated like shit, unhappiness with her occupation, obsession with being too fat/ugly (even if she is hot), etc.

It seems to be easier to find them in "lower" occupations, the service industry, traditionally feminine occupations or fields of study, etc. Look at what she is wearing, how she carries herself, etc.

Ask her about her life to see if she has any of the above characteristics. All it takes is a few minutes.

i go to a pretty famous university where even the girls are smart and have their acts together. it has sucked so much.. in the two years i've been here i haven't gotten any play (i think part of it has to do with the fact that there arent that many hot girls here to pick from anyway). but yeah, i finally got fed up with my situation and started hitting up parties at other nearby universities. those dumber girls were all up on my nuts like crazy. i'm currently banging this one dreadlocked bi chick who has issues up the wazoo. but DAMN she's kinky.
