Don't know about that one, that's a toughy. I do know though, that internet chat boards are known to have the most important and up-to-date info on gender interaction. You did the right thing by consulting a friendly source of on-line advice. They're always sure to point you in the right direction.

Wow, this thread explains a lot (yeah I actually went and read the whole thing)... and i direct that not just to JH but to the whole guy/girl thing and what I remember of most of my 20's - my God, it all makes sense now.
For the record, "Hi" + a genuine smile - creepy wanna get laid guy = conversation starter (or nothing so you will know right away if you have a chance).

yes, except unless the girl is full out agressive, all you'll get back even if shes interested is "hi" and a smile. you need a followup, which is where the 8-ball line comes in handy (j/k)
