soo..im having my best workout at the gym...chest workout..pumps flowing perfectly..loving every minute of it...so my chest workout consists of... flat bench db press.. i get my 95lbs and start... a fucking kid walking by with a dumbell drops it on my fucking dumbell... and it dislocated my shoulder...because i held on to the dumbell..i didnt wannt the kid to fuking get hurt..so i held on..and popped it right out.. fucking 13 yr old... the gym offered me a 2 year free membership..and so on...but i think theere goes my f ucking cycle.. its difcult typing..fucking so much pain.
 
My shoulder dislocated along time ago doing incline dumbell presses a guy was behind the bench backed up and bumped right into my left arm arm twisted and giant pop occured.
It popped right back into place when I stood up and shook it around.

It swelled and hurt for a few weeks then eventually felt better. But I can still hear it click sometimes when i go heavier every now and then.

now a friend of mine had something similar happen but his arm dislocated and torn his bursa sack of fluid around the shoulder and tore one of his rotator cuff muscles on his scapula, shit took him almost 6 months to heal up
and still gives him problem he was benching 405 for max reps with out clamps on the bar. weight shifted slide off one side and the other side fell to the ground and some how cuaght his arm up under the bar and did the damage
 
thanks for the reply bro...how long did it take you to hop back into the gym? im just worried about my cycle... i dont know if i should just stop and start pct... or wait it out...

6 weeks in bro...

there was a medic on site..and plus my girlfriends a doctor..so the medic just popped it back in place... now im looking at pyhsio on monday.. and see what the outcome is... my wife thought it wasnt that bad..nothing torn or scuffed.. but thats her just feeling it..

That sucks bro. I assume you were able to reduce it back. (pop it back in place)It's going to be sore. I'm not going to play jr. M.D. but you should consider an MRI to see how bad the tear is. You may or may not need surgery. Problem is if the ligaments are not attached, it will dislocate again. They will probably put you in a sling and look at the options. If you have a Bankhart tear, you will probably need surgery. This is the worse case scenario. DO NOT USE THAT ARM FOR ANYTHING. For sure go see an Ortho surgeon. Good luck.

Holy shit man..that sux big time. Makes me shudder thinking if it was me so I feel for ya believe me. I so hate kids in th gym at times. Spend most of there time standing around talking and shit, playing games and fooling around. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Damn I feel so bad for you and hope that it's not as bad as could possibly be and recovery is quick.
 
Anything is possible. The problem is that your shoulder won't dislocate unless it is torn out of the socket. A minor tear could heal up on it's own. Not going to speculate. Let's hope and pray you don't need surgery, Bro. In any case...it's fixable. An MRI will show every little detail. Stay strong. :) :heart:
 
Is there a rule on the floor about kids uner 15 or 16?

If so, you got hurt by the negligence of the gym to enforce their rules of safety. See how much the gym is willing to settle for before taking it to court and take that as compensation.


I would have chewed that kid out. I really like kids and teenagers, but they also piss me off someone times because of their wrecklesness and failure to recognize other people. I'd let his punk ass have a little chewing out. Try to make him pee his pants or something.
 
I separated my shoulder in August. I began to lift about 2 weeks later but VERY light and only triceps biceps and other smaller parts. I could not bench press for 2 months. I feel your pain man. It sucks. Good luck.
 
Well the roids will help you heal faster. This is good news and bad news. If there is severe damage to the connective tissues, they don't always heal correctly without proper medical assistance. This could mean PT and/or surgery. So if it heals correctly the steroids will help your situation. However, if this is serious damage then the healing process may complicate the situation if you pussy foot around trying to figure out what to do. That is awesome that your wife is a doctor, but you really need to see a specialist asap before it heals too much. It will be more difficult for the Dr. to assess the damage, and if it has already began to heal incorrectly, then he has two problems to fix. The original injury, and he will have to correct/compensate for whatever new problems have arisen from your body trying to fix the injury on its own. You don't want him to have to cut any more than he has to to fix this if surgery is required. So time is of the essence in a situation like this, and steroids makes time even more critical based on the rapidly faster healing process associated with aas use.

Secondly, most gyms DO have a minimum age for free weight areas, and the lowest I have seen is 15 yrs old. Most gyms just don't enforce this rule because they won't say no to another paying member. I would bet your gym has such a policy. An immediate offer of two full free years is a sign of them shitting their pants because they know you have grounds for a serious lawsuit. You also have legal recourse to sue the child's parents because they drove him to said gym, paid for said gym membership, allowed him to workout unsupervised ect. This situation is dire from an injury perspective, but from a legal one......, you just won the fucking lottery. Time to call an attorney and cash in your ticket stub. Oh yeah by the way in cases like this your pain and suffering settlement is estimated based on the amount of medical bills you have acquired as a direct result of said injuries. So don't worry about racking up medical bills. Once you hire an attorney, they will file an injunction with the medical collection companies informing them that there is pending litigation for your specific case, and you won't have to pay your bills until the case is settled. HeavyDuty is right on the money thats the first thing I thought of when he said they started offering free shit as soon as it happened. Take the time out to see an attorney bro please you never know how bad the tear is or could end up being plus you may end up getting PAID. Take your time when choosing the lawyer if you do have a case and dont just sign up with the first one you talk to. They all typically charge different percents and whatnot. Nobody likes people that are sue happy but this is one time where you need to cover your health and yourself first of all.
Just IMAGINE the MEGA-CYCLE you could run with a 100k settlement. GH, Anavar, IGF-1, Primo sky is the limit.

Just yesterday this little 12 or 13 year old girl got stuck on the leg press machine. It only had a 45 on each side but i had to run over and play captain save-a-kid. I found her dad who was reading the newspaper and told his silly ass he needs to keep a better eye on his kid.

One more thing... Go see a fucking doc right now and have as many x-rays you can have done. Also, ofcourse get a referral to an Orthopedic as well and see him asap. If you decide to sue you have got to have your ducks in a row. Also, everytime you see the doc or ortho or physical therapist remember that shit is killing you. On a scale from 1-10 in pain its a 500. Also, you cant sleep therefore you are missing work. Get creative my friend.
 
my sisters an attorney adn i talked to her where going to sue the fuck out of the g ym...but not the kid..it wasnt his fault..except for the whole dropping off the dumbell.. but i found out that the gym is 18 plus..the kid was fucking 13... he got my address from the gym and came over late at night to apoligize... but it was the gyms fault..the kids not fucking 18... hes unsupervised.. and at the gym...that gym is going down...so far for the MRI i get to see my ortho tomorrow.. one of the best in canada... has been the doctor for bc lions vancouver canucks and many major teams... soo well see how that pans out..im hoping it is a minor tear..

I can't say I have had a disclocated shoulder but I have had shoulder injuries and joint problems and it sucks because without the shoulder you cannot train efficiently at all.
 
I've dislocated my shoulder three times. You'll be fine in two weeks bro. Just don't do anything crazy with it. Stay on cycle and blast your legs a few times a week. Good luck and keep us posted.

woah woah not necessarily true, maybe for you man. depends on how much torn tissue there is. i seperated my shoulder a THIRD DEGREE seperation about 3 years ago riding (snowboards) I lost like 30 pounds, and recovery (after surgery) was nothing short or SIX MONTHS

like all the good bros sais, get those MRIs man.....and if you need surgery GET IT, trust me, its worth it.

My previously injured shoulder came back FULL FORCE. All I need do is light rotator cuff warmups before chest or shoulders, which are good to do just as preventative maintenance.

Good luck man, and one more thing, you said your GIRLFRIEND is a doc? and then mentioned a WIFE as well? lol i see why youre bigpimpin now.....haha ;)

sucks, i tore my shoulder about 2 years ago, and i did have to get surgery, fucking painful, but i was out of gym for 6 months, and i still get soreness in my shoulder, and my strength went down drastically. this is no joke man, i know you are taking it seriously but it could lead to a further injury and keep you out of they gym for a while! good luck man
 
Why was there a 13 yr old in there without anyone supervising him to begin with? Damn man I'm really sorry to hear about your injury. I hope you have a speedy recovery and don't get discouraged by whatever gains you may lose. They will come back quickly.

my training partner is huge. 46 years old, jacked and shredded. nicest guy ever. some teens were around the squat rack while we were doing squats. one of the kids was playing grab ass with his friend and nearly fell into my training partner while he had the bar on his back. my training partner dropped the bar back off his shoulders and exploded on these kids. i was actually embarrassed for him and me more than the kids. havent seen them since then. cant be fucking around in the gym. iron is dangerous.

Yeah sounds like an easy win. Like you said it isn't the kids fault, the gym has rules for a reason. They don't enforce many of them in my gym. Especially the no wearing jeans rule, First I don't even know why you would want to lift in jeans but I do know that the buttons on the back of them ruin the damn seats of everything.
