Friday Night Leg Night...

Well... tonight was a fun night! :)

Front Squats -- Warmup Bar/135 x 10

185 x 10, 225x6, 245x4

Zercher Squats -- Warmup Bar

135x10, 185x9, 225x6, 235x4 -- New PR on the x6 and the 235x4... also, I didn't use any padding (my sweatshirt) on the bar for 185... sorry... still need to wrap the bar on 225 or over. LOL

Stiff-Legged Deadlifts

135x10, 185x10, 225x10, 275x8

Leg Curls -- 1 set of 20 reps, single leg. -- legs were cashed.

Calves --- standing, stack + 45 x 25 3 sets.
--- seated, 6 plates x 20 3 sets.

Legs is becomming one of my most favorite workouts... I think today, it just passed back. :) Kind of like the Crab Most Muscular pose. :)

im doin legs tonight, in about 30 mins actually. itll be my first day doing real squats ever.
 
Good workout.

However, I think it would be reasonable to switch up your routine every now and then.

For example:

Workout#1

1. Front Squats
2. Zercher Squats
3. Lying Leg Curls

Workout#2

1. Hack Squats
2. Leg Presses
3. Stiff Leg Deadlifts

Workout#3

1. Squats
2. Leg Extensions
3. Good Mornings

Think about this. . . in the meantime keep tearin' it up big man:fro:
 
heh heh...

Yeah, I hear you Swain... I'm in the process of saving up for one of those saftey squat bars... so I can do good mornings, and back squats... right now, I can't hold the bar on my back... and I just feel like I worked more when I do fronts/zerchers than when I do leg press/hacks... maybe it is just me?

I think... once i get that bar... and can store it at the gym... things will workout alot better. :)

nice job on the PR's...also, it is fucking refreshing to see a brother with hella strong hamstrings in balance with his quads.....your traps are looking quite stout too, do you do any cleans or snatches? or is it jut from deads and shrugs? either way, looking jacked bro.

Yeah... I am making sure to work my hams just as much... I'm starting to see a belly in them. :)

I do barbell shurgs for my traps. Also, they benefit from deads... and I do some variations on my barbell rows... by doing a more vertical stance... to hit my upper back... which consequently, hits my traps... on some of the sets... (on other sets, I'm more bent over, for lats).
