Forgot to aspirate

Only my third time injecting, and just stupid brain fart, I forgot to aspirate after putting the needle in to see if any blood was in the syringe. I injected, I didn't see any blood at all, but when I pulled the needle out I noticed blood on the bed (I inject lying sideways), and there was blood on my cheek.

I didn't see any blood on the needle or in the needle.

Now I'm fucking scared wondering if I injected into a blood vessel or not. How soon would I know after injecting, if I did do that?

you would have know by now... You would have gotten light headed and dizy - felt sick within about a minute or two...

everyonce in a while, especially when my veins get larger from the cycle, i can't help but hitting veins, blood vessels on the way out or in. I usually inject my delts, so i always push the 1" all the way in, and 100% of the time, I have never injected into a vein. I've gone through veins and when you pull out, you reap the rewards of either bright blood (vessels) or dark blood (veins).. not fun, but what I have learned is grab a cotton alky pad and clean it off quick, grab another one and press down for a few minutes - this will significantly reduce the bruising..

If you were able to write this, you're on the safe side. Usually the negative effect is immediate, within the fisrt seconds after the shot.
