Bikinimom, will all due respect, when ever you say something like "not impressive" to someone, then it is certainly taking a shot at them.

Granted, you explained that impressive to you was at another level, but still... to actually say "not impressive" translates to sub-par or less than ideal.

For example, Fonz recently posted some pics (supposedly of himself this time) and I would say that he looks like he's in-shape,..... but by NO means impressive...... but if I say that about him, then it's taking a shot at him, right?

GinNJuice I can understand what you are saying but no, I beg to differ. I certainly was not taking a cheap shot at Supergirl. Her body is in shape, but she is young and has had no children. This makes her body impressive? If this were true than all a female would have to be is NOT FAT in order to be impressive. Call me silly, but I don't believe that is the definition of the word. Is her body nice? I never said it wasn't. But impressive? Sorry, I don't agree. (PS - HI, you didn't name the pro that you saw a PICTURE of Supergirl standing next to that she blew out of the water.)

So now why is it a cheap shot for me to say that while I find Supergirl to be in shape but not impressive, it is NOT a cheap shot for HI to say that FEW WOMEN who post on elite IMPRESSED HIM? Who is HI that the women who post on elite should impress HIM? Actually one could EASILY CONSTRUE HI's comment to be downright insulting and I listed only a small fraction of the women who he did insult.

I'm impressed by a woman who takes care of her body to the level that the women on this board do, regardless of whether or not she has had kids. I might be a little more impressed if she's had a kid, but a great physique is a great physique regardless......

PS - you never did mention the name of the pro whose physique Supergirl blew away.

I have seen her in the flesh and unless she has made some dramatic changes (which she very well may have as I met her at the Arnolds earlier this year) I still stand by my original NONFLAMING comments that while she may be in may she is not impressive.

Needsize - Valentina Chepiga (one example of thousands) never had a child - her PHYSIQUE is impressive. My old training partner (one example of thousands) never had a child and was very young - her PHYSIQUE is impressive.

The fact that a woman is older or that she has had children is not what makes her physique impressive. Come on, I think you all know exactly what my comments meant. This is elite. People are SUPPOSED to weight-train. For ANY ONE to say that FEW WOMEN that post on elite IMPRESSED HIM - THAT IS THE COMMENT OF AN EGO MANIAC - period.

There are many MANY women that post up on elite (not necessarily the chat board) that have VERY IMPRESSIVE PHYSIQUES - not all have had children and not all are above 30. When this is the case it makes her ALL THE MORE IMPRESSIVE.

I still stand by my original statement that just because a young girl (that is below the age of 25) is NOT FAT that does not make her "physqiue" impressive. It only means that she has a nice body and is "in shape".

You can agree or disagree. But I am entitled to my opinion.

I have yet to flame or speak harshly towards any one on this thread.
