just purchased my first set of Chuck's on ebay, mono black. Ive heard great things, im sure they are leaps and bounds better than wrestling slippers ive been squatting in.

they give a nice solid base, flat low sole, and good support on the base for if you spread the floor with your feet.

I prefer a thin sole for squats and deadlifts. I used to use my other shoes on days when I wasn't squating or deadlifting but those days have become rare.
