Also if these meals you are eating are high in processed sugars like non diet pop ect. The hunger you could be feeling is called a crash. By Eating food high in processed sugar or just sugar for that matter you cause your body to produce insulin to put the sugar into your glycogen stores(Stored carbs) or into your fat stores. When you eat too much of the sugar too much insulin gets produced and glycogen stores have a speed limit as to how fast they fill yet your fat stores do not so your glycogen stores only need X amount of insulin to start filling the more insulin left over the more sugar gets put into your fat stores faster than ur insulin can use it. In essence now you have sucked your blood dry and not really even adequatly filled up glycogen stores and then suddenly your hungry. So just eat natural good carbs like oatmeal whole grain bread\anything WHOLE grain. Also your body will adapt itself to burn a ratio of fat\carb through the day close to what u ate because higher insulin levels after eating carbs will make u burn more carbs and as they drop the fat gets burned more so even if u did have a sugar crash your body will go back and use what it stored but the problem is you feel hungry and want to eat which can lead to over eating your calories which is the ONLY thing that can actually make u fat. I could eat fruit loops all day and take a multi vitamin and a protein supp and few scoops of crisco. However as long as I stayed under my caloric expenditure I could still lose weight. It would be hard though cause as I ate the fruit loops they would make a huge insulin response sweeping my blood of its sugar and not really even doing a great job of filling my glycogen stores, so id get hungry again even though i had enough stored to run off of it cant be pulled out fast enough to compensate for low blood sugar. So I would want to eat and thus if i kept eating and repeating the cycle i would have put away many more calories than I needed. So to avoide hunger and make it easy to stay within calories eat good natural foods 4-7 times a day.
