floating poo poo

My poo has been floaters for the past couple months. Ive read conflicting statements on why this is:
Some say it could be a pancreas problem, or just gasses in the poop, or its because my diet is too high in fats and my pancreas cant process it, and Ive heard that its a good thing because it just means im eating enough fiber.
DR OZ says your poop should sink like a torpedo, not float. Others say floaters are good.
So what is the damn truth here??

Tren, what color are the floaters? If it is a fat absorption issue they probably will not be the typical brown but noticeably lighter, perhaps even gray.

Ok Trenerrific isn't coming back to this thread I don't believe, so I'll go ahead and share a bit of additional info on this topic.

Floating poo will usually be accompanied by a excessive gas. It could just be triggered by a recent increase in fruit, fruit juices, and/or certain raw veggies to the diet. Organic, uncooked fruits and veggies are going to add additional bacteria to the gut which will produce more gas. So this is not a bad thing necessarily. If gas and floating stools are are only symptoms, and you recently added some of these items to your diet, just take a quality digestive enzyme on an empty stomach (this is important) every day for a week and the problems will mostly likely resolve.

If however your stools are very light brown or gray there could be a problem with sufficient fat digestion. As far as I'm aware this would most likely be caused by little or no bile making it through to the intestine from the gall bladder. If this is the case you're probably also experiencing some other symptoms like: sharp/radiating/diffuse pain on the right side just under the ribs and nausea after fatty meals. If that's the case see your primary care physician.
