First power lifting comp today

Well Ive stayed up too late, woken up tired and grumpy, hungry and regretting buying that pack of cigarettes last night. what was I thinking. OH well, shit happens.
Got my first power lifting comp today, just club level and only really going in it for the experience. I seem to have woken up with a bit of competitiveness, where the hell did that come from?
Weigh in is at lunch. comp at 1300.
Just weighed myself on the home scales. Holly shit im down again, at least at 98.5 kg (217lb) ill be in a lower weight class.
Just going for my 1 rep pr's at this moment.
Dead lift 220kg (484 lbs)
Bench 120kg (264 lbs)
Squat 130kg (286 lbs)
Let u all know how i went this arvo.
 
Bloody Hell, just drove for over an hour to find they've postponed the comp till next week. Talk about pissed off!
I fly back out to work on Wed for 2 weeks. So I miss out.
 
yeah, thats a hell of a difference between squat and deadlift. Which muscles are lagging behind? quads?

Dead lift 220kg (484 lbs)
Bench 120kg (264 lbs)
Squat 130kg (286 lbs)

Dead lift is good. Legs and bench can be better. Good luck.
 
Congratulations on getting involved in a compeition. I need to look around my area to see what's availalble. Nothing like signing up for a meet to really focus your workouts. Let us know how you do next week. I'll wager that you beat your PR's by at least 20lbs by just being in the competive environment that meets offer.
