high estrogen have blood work...still no sex drive

Hey all I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section, I am new to elite fitness and was not sure where to put this. But I could really use some help I am worried and lost.

I was on Letro for a while to try and treat some gyno and I followed it up with Nova at 20/10 for two weeks (both the Nova and Letro were prescribed by my doctor so I know they are legit). About a week after stopping the Nova I went in for blood work and my results came back kind of weird to me.

Estradiol: 59 pg/ml (norm: 7.6-42.6pg/ml)
Testosterone Seru: 863 ng/dL (norm: 348-1197ng/dL)

What is confusing me is I was under the impression that the Letro/Nova would have crushed my Estrogen and it should be at or below the low end of normal range. I was (and still am) experiencing sides such as no sex drive, which I thought was do to my estrogen being too low only to find out its high. My doctor is not sure as to what is going on either so I hoped you guys could shed some light on it.

-how is my estrogen this high after running letro and nova ?
-why do I have no sex drive when my estrogen is not crushed?
-what do I do to fix this?

How would PCT Unleashed help? Does it lower estrogen to bring back my sex drive, if that is the cause of the loss?

The key word in your first sentence is "AFTER".You've been off them for a week plenty of time for your body to build up some estrogen.

Id also like to point out adipose tissue is a good source of E as well, whats your body fat at?

Additionally things like beer and many self care products either promote E or outright contain E. High E is really an epidemic today in men because of obesity and outside sources.

Id recommend trying some of the natural stuff by needto or DIM and Calcium D glucarate are also natural inhibitors.

thanks for posting this.. proves to all the guys who have argued with me in the past that a high test level doesn't automatically mean you will have a strong sex drive.

now as far as your problem I can sum it up very easily in 2 words "nolva" and "letro" both are sex drive killers.. dont believe me? google both yourself and include the word erectile dysfunction and see how many hits you get! the fact that your doctor is clueless that he is giving you dick killing drugs is another reason you shouldn't trust them.

how do you cure your problem? its not gonna be as simple as taking something. time will fix the situation, once the drugs clear out.. so give it some time.

letro should be used at a bare minimum, the sides are nasty. you said you were on it 'a while', letro shouldn't be run a long time or you will be flirting with disaster. fire your doctor

you hit the nail on the head. i bet his estrogen has always been high in his adult years, many males in the US have high estrogen. its the crappy lifestyle and crappy diets. and all the drugs people are taking.. every guy in their 40's has a beer gut it seems. every one of them has high estrogen.

stevesmi: I actually had blood work down around a year ago and my estrogen levels then were actually only 19 pg/ml so I dont actually have high estrogen levels naturally that is partly why this is such a issue for me.

Zyglamail: My body fat is not too high if I had to guess it would prob be in the low teens but that is just an estimate, as for some stats I am 5'9" 185lbs and 25yr.

Judo Tom: I have never tried formastanzol but I will look into it, how does it go about increasing sex drive?

^^^ yeah I think the bottom line is the being on letro that long screwed your body up. so be a lil patient and get off the drugs for a while and things should get back to normal.

you might want to look into other alternatives to fighting your gyno. as much as i hate to say it surgery may be a more practical solution... I know i would rather have the surgery and be done with it then deal with these horrible sides from the drugs you are getting.

also put up some pics and we will be able to tell you a good guestimate of your body fat. height and weight aren't enough info
