First cycle has been great but no major muscle gains

27 214 lb 18 bf Hey everyone this is my question , I ran my first cycle in 4 years and Im on my 5 th week. Test cyp 250 3 cc a week and tren hex100 3 cc a week ( no major sides by the way just a little acne just this week . Bp is good. I know this cycle is for a healthier more experienced person but I did it. My strengh has definitely gone up 50lb on bench 20 lb on dumbbells and so on. I know aas is not a magic pill but I want major muscle gain and I'm not there . I put on like 8 lb muscle but I see my self everyday and don't see anymore gains. I go to gym everyother day and eat very clean protein is like 150 a day. Am I just expecting to much in such a short period of time. Do I need to go everyday to the gym?
 
Up your protein to 300g over your 6-7 meals.
So aim to get 40-45g from each meal, protein is required in every meal.
Have it every 2-2.5 hours.
Remember aas increased the need of food and leeps your body in a positive nitrogen state, keep getting that protein in
Also have good fats, the fact that you've put on 8lbs on muscle with 150g protein a day is quite a miracle in itself.

How do you know its only 8lbs of muscle? Did you get hydrostatically weighed/bod pod/20 point skin fold? If you just relied on the scale your weight gain is likely very inaccurate. Id also like to point out that 8lbs in 5 weeks is defiantly good gains, not sure what you are expecting, a lot of shit has to go on in your body to add mass and putting on over a pound a week is nothing to sneeze at.
 
eh i see a lot of problems with your situation. the main problem is you did not build a base prior to juicing, now you are dissapointed in your results.

now you are wondering if you should work out more, eat more etc. this is why its important to get those issues ironed out BEFORE juicing, or you just end up screwing with your HPTA for nothing. the strength gains you got could of been achieved easily without juicing, the fact u added 50 pounds to your bench proves that you were way below your genetic potential. never should anyone add that much strength to their bench press in that short a time!! that is a huge red flag that your body isn't conditioned well at all

i would chalk this up as a learning experience. and spend the next year or two honing in and your diet and workout strategies. once you find something that works for YOU, then you can venture into another cycle.

you are a bit on the heavy side so i would spend 6 months cutting down, knock that bf down to a level that is good. at 18% bf you aren't gonna have very much definition.. then once you cut down i would hit the weight room hard.

to those above saying you need more food or more protein, this is not the problem as the OP is overweight, if he was an ectomorph and skinny then that would be my recommendation. in his case he has to get that body fat cut down to probably the low teens as his goals are not strength but definition. i think 90% of posters on this forum want to be strong but also want to look good... this is achieveable but it takes a lot of hard work and understanding what works and what doesn't.. only experience will guide you.

I can only ask you one thing?
Would you trust the diet of a thousand newbs... i think not

damnn son... i eat like 300ish when i go for a bulker, and i weight 90kg
