First cycle has been great but no major muscle gains

That's all well and good, but he hasn't specifically said he wants to "cut" as such, and increasing protein and decreasing carb, macro wise would be beneficial to maintaining current muscle... While improving lean body comp. Having too low protein is detrimental on or off cycle whether youre cutting or bulking isn't it? Just curious guys!
 
^^^ he is 18% bf and says he isn't seeing muscle.. that tells me he is too fat and wants to drop that down. i think staying under 14% is the way to go and under 11% depending on age you will start seeing the prime definition that we all seek.

as for the protein.. its important yes. thats why i stress people eat a lot of cage free omega eggs. however if it was the only thing then you wouldn't see guys with guts walking out of steak restaurants all the time. you also need clean carbs, cals, and vits/minerals. protein has to be clean as well or you are gonna destroy your cholesterol from the bad fats. and you need to workout hard and mantain good heart health with scattered cardio but not a lot or you will burn away muscle.
 
Every person that asks about tweaking their cycle and is told by the vets to get their diet and workouts straight first should be refered to this post. Classic inexperienced lifter looking for a miracle with test and tren. Listen to these guys bro, everyone here has put time and thought into their post, and have very valid points. Let this be a life lesson, and next time, do your homework and then you can kill that shit.

True True, wasn't arguing sorry, just grabbing info off someone with more experience haha.
If he's cycling... And runs at a calorie deficit won't that be detrimental? I'm really not familiar with low calories and cycling..

depends on the person.

if you are looking to bulk then i would hit clean carbs/cals hard. it worked for me beautifully. however in the end i put on a lot of body fat.. i went from about 7% to 17% over the course of 8 months with 2 bulker cycles. my breakfast was huge. 2 waffles with honey, 2 turkey, lettuce sandwiches on ezekial bread, fruit. and i would eat every 2 hours.

if you are cutting then limiting intake of carbs/cals is fine on cycle since you are getting the anabolic and androgenic benefits from the AAS you are taking. so it counter acts each other.

food is the most anabolic thing you can put in your body besides AAS. so off cycle you want to be careful to eat but eat clean. you don't want to be going long periods of time without eating. there is a product on NTBM called 'gear' which has super plasma protein. this will help if you cannot eat.. also boiling some eggs and taking them with you and munching on them is a great way as well to not lose that anabolic body.

Ah okay, thanks heaps.. I thought that the cycling helped keep + nitrogen balance and anabolic environment.
Because on 2500-3000+ calories each day for a week.. (second week of test e) I just checked and I'm up 8kg... So confused. Macros 40 pro, 30 fat, 30 carb..

This is exactly why comparing all these stupid questions asking how much you will gain on a given cycle are a total waste of time. Everyone is different and responds differently. Add to that the number on the scale means jack shit by itself. You need to know what your BF is in addition to what the scale says for it to have any value at all.

Hahah, very true.
But Close to 20lb in a week is obviously not all muscle by any means.. And with 10 weeks of test to go... I'll need to seriously have a look at calories on a daily basis haha :/
