Good luck buddy. What kind of weights are you going for?

Liftbig said:here are my thoughts,
gain some weight,do this meet in the 220 class, that way you can eat whatever and not have to worry about weighing in that much. if you look at some of the top lifters that are lighter weights youll notice they started at heavier classes, got real strong then dropped to lower classes, one person who comes to mind is George Halbert, i believe George used to be in the 275s(he also totaled elite at 275 before he focused on bench)
like JM blakely told me one time "you have to build the house before your paint it" so gain some weight.
Liftbig said:good. now are you going to wear any gear for the meet?
GhostMan said:To bad you don't live near mobile, alabama...i have 3 shirts that I never use. I'm 18 also, and close to your weight...Even have a double denim radicial velcro back shirt that i would let u use :-/ ...You would fall in love with it but good luck bro!
GhostMan said:I was fortunate enough to start lifting with a power-lifter a year ago. He's 41, weights 245, and can bench 500 pretty solid.....He's not juicing nor does he power lift anymore..Just a strong man and he knows his stuff...
I'm only weighing 180 right now, but for my competition in two months, I will get up to almost 200lbs..if not 200lbs. My goal is 415 with a shirt. For me to get that goal, I will need to bench about 350 without the shirt. I know I can get 300 right now( weighing only 180 ) and that's only 50lbs more in two months...not to bad...I should get it. Squats and deadlifts I dont lift to heavy because I already have a bad knee and I need to take care of it due to my occupation/hobby.
Good luck to you and just be determind to kick some ass!!
