When you filter it to the sterylized vial thrue the .22 micron filter it should take care of the bugs. If people are real woried either pasterize it or by a sterilizing oven, found one for 380.00 new. Saint7

You'll want to run it through a filter anyway to remove any particles left in your solution. These particles can cause symptoms of infection, such as pain and swelling at the injection site. So, just run it through a filter. Its not as if you are injecting dirt or something. If you use sterile oil, 90% of your concerns are unfounded.

To answer your original question, baking isn't necessary.
