well my fiancee got laid off a little while ago and has been looking for another job. she's blown all her savings on bills/living expenses since losing it and thinks i should pay for her gas.. A few times I put in without her even asking so I guess she got used to taht and started expecting me to do it... I didnt one time and she got upset and said "you're my fiancee, you should be doing that"
???? is she wrong???
we dont live together yet either.

Do you think she would do it for you? For me, it would depend upon their spending habits... If she's spending more than she's making like a lot of people do, I wouldn't suffer along with her... You might want to keep separate bank accounts if you get married.

Yep: even when she was working - she never really paid for anything when we went out or brought dinner over my house or offered to make me dinner/etc. Once she brought over ice cream and bananas and made banana splits. I was completely surprised she did that !!

Also: last week I gave her money to put in her tank. . . She went to atlantic city with her family 4th of july weekend and used half of it for a tip -- for the bathroom lady !!!!

Nope, I wouldn't put up with that... You are only gonna end up resenting her... I think I don't believe in marriage anymore... People should live in their own dwellings and support themselves... There would be less breakups, except too many people want a free ride or to have their imcomes supplemented by someone elses.
