You people all seem to be severely overestimating the pervasiveness of big brother.
First, email isn't considered within the sphere of privacy if it's gathered from a remote source. They don't need a warrant because it's sent through cyberspace, where anyone with a modicum of skill and intent can listen.
Second, the Pariot Act is not nearly what several of you seem to think it is. Sure, there are a couple of kooky provisionos that have people up in arms, but it's not nearly to the degree most here seem to think it is. They can't do anything they want without a warrant. It doesn't work that way.
Third, frankly, the Feds just don't care. There are much bigger fish to devote their resources to in an effort to fry them. They don't care if you do steroids, and they're not going to sit and listen in on everything and anything that goes through pro-gear message board communities.
Fourth, hushmail is encrypted, and encrypted pretty well. They're not going to devote their resources to decrypting random intercepted emails from hushmail. Trust me, they don't care.
Hope this helps calm you down, and clear up a few pervasive but kinda stupid misconceptions about OMG AMERIKKKA.
