Extraterrestrials wouldn't be hostile

With all the alien sightings there are two conclusions that I have.
1. Humans want attention, are stupid and lie alot and have bad eyesight.
2. Aliens exist.

As for alien species; if one wanted to destroy us or help us they would have recce'd us first. Ie sightings. If they attacked us and nuclear weapons did not deter them we could try and ally with a rival alien species. As for sightings; speak out!

wouldn't be hostile

As far as visits by "Extraterrestrials", I believe they are really Time Travelers from the future or Cross Dimensional Travelers through one of the 11 dimensions! And most reports of UFO's are actually Government "Dark Project!" As far as the rest of the Abduction reports, they are the result of bad medication and Hallucinations!

The distance of any intelligent life in this Universe or one of the Bubble Universes is to far! However a possible worm hole could bypass the distance for them! Disregarding a worm hole I think the probability of the "Visitors" being Future Travelers or Cross Dimensional Travelers is higher!

As a result I believe these "Visitors" or "Extraterrestrials" would not be hostile! But Worm Hole Alien Travelers would be hostile if you follow the laws of nature! Which is survival of the fittest!

Maybe their really hungry? Or possibly looking for a new suitable home. I have heard of the theory that aliens are another species existing on a "different wavelength" and inadvertently crossing over to ours. Sounds a bit far fetched.

No

I'd have to agree with Hanz in the sense that, any alien race achieving that level of technology would have to be inherently peaceful...within its own race. They could only have gotten that far if they were all at peace with each other, but that says nothing of their intentions towards other races.

They also could have been the most brutal exterminating all others on their planet. In a word,Winners.

I find this highly unlikely. I believe any species that has become an advanced space faring organism would have gone through the social change necessary to purge itself of militaristic and aggressive impulses.

In my mind this is only common sense because any species which had not done this would have wiped itself out before it got to such an advanced level.

Hans,

Almost all of our technologcal breakthroughs are fostered by a desire to conquer or out-do other people.

Why would future breakthroughs arise elsewhere?

Who were we trying to conquer when we invented the remote control?

It is very likely that in a civilized society, invention and innovation would be inspired by a desire to improve quality of life instead of conquering people.

Creating a cleaner, more efficient source of energy (hydrogen-based, matter-antimatter, etc) would serve the purpose of being cheap and less harmful to the environment. Certainly no "conquering" going on there. If anything, our LACK of invention and innovation is what is driving the urge to "conquer" since we have been blessed with 0.0000000001% of the world's oil and 99.9999999999% of the world's need for oil.

I'd like to state an actual fact in this thread. Ready?

None of us have a clue about how extraterrestrials would act, hostile or whatever. peace

warik,

Read my initial post. I wrote "conquer or out-do" other people. If it is not explicity for military use, innovations are driven by financial opportunity. (out-doing) Very little is invented to improve quality of life, rather instead for the financial benefit of the innovator. quality of life follows, in theory. it doesn't lead.

Remote control LOL! Remote communication via radio waves was (Surprise!) a military invention. Remote control TV is an adaptation that came about many years later. Just like the Internet.

Hydrogen powered vessels is old news. This was used 70 years ago. It's popular again due to the Middle Aeast situation.

Oil: We have alot of oil here actually. And as for consumption, it is decreasing here and increasing exponentially in the Far East. They will surpass us by 2005.
